Initial Assessment
Therapy
Medication Management
During the initial visit, I will ask about your current concerns,
as well as your medical, psychiatric, family, and social history,
to formulate an assessment and collaborate on a plan for treatment. The assessment may extend into a second session.

Therapy sessions may or may not involve medication management and generally occur weekly. In some cases, every other week sessions are appropriate.

The cadence of medication management only visits will depend on symptom stability, medication type, whether we are adjusting dosages, and your preference.

Patient Eligibility
I am able to meet with adults located in Texas who are 18 years of age and older. I unfortunately am not able to accept patients with Medicare insurance.
Payment
At this time, I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. However, many insurance companies will provide coverage for services rendered by a psychiatrist (usually 50-100%) after a deductible is met. Please check with your insurance company for specific benefits applicable to your plan and inquire about “out-of-network mental health coverage”. I am able to provide you with a superbill through the patient portal to submit to your insurance company.
Emergency Services
I am unable to provide emergency psychiatric services through this practice. If you have a crisis or emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
